A sense of unreality, then, can be a part of this…
An unreality which seeps into
all that we see, do, think and feel,
is tantamount to a consciousness of the beyond.
We may observe the shadow-play of others, perhaps,
and feel ourselves extraordinarily distant from it.
Alternatively, instead of an unreality,
we may feel ourselves accosted
by the blinding force of reality!
Something inordinately familar to us
may suddenly present itself
in all its pristine uniqueness.
When this happens to our sense of ourselves,
we have acquired a notion of the unseen.
