Dear Wen: Omar…

14 sept 404Dear Wen…
Ah Omar, he of the cloth bedecked head and wisdom of the serpent.
Do we know aught of the traditions of the loose fitting turban I wonder?
The calendar of course is altogether another ‘kettle of fish’.
(Nice word ‘kettle’. Is it linked to ‘catch’ I wonder).
Can a civilisation ever really transcend its conception of the calendar and hence the motion of the heavens?
I very much doubt it.
All of which means, my dearest Wendolina, that where the heavens are concerned we, as a fledgling civilisation, are saddled with the grossest inaccuracies…
‘We dive… down!” …A reference to the ‘Song of the Siren’ if ever there was one. The light of the Sun is too great which is why we need a vessel to contain it. Our vessel currently is the earth which has to become a ‘body of light’…

Diana and co north 163The ‘us’ of the bible is usually regarded as ‘The Elohim’. They represent the planetary beings or if one prefers our ‘old friends’ the Pleiades.
Perhaps, when or if we do ever indeed become ‘one of them’ we will be assigned our own planet, or star, and our own ‘day of the week’…
I am growing ever fonder of ‘the serpent as soul’ party. The sloughing of the skin certainly fits this conception. And one would then inevitably have to reconsider the line about ‘biting heels’ and ‘bruising heads’ which is the real ‘curse’ if curse it really is.
I like the ‘Beast that thinks for it-Self’ line which few of us ever achieve of course.
The ‘it-Self’ party, clearly, also has much to commend it.

‘nuff said…

  1. I never grow tired of reading these posts. In this world of such constant push, pull, drag and drop, it is definitely a welcome breath of air in this world. Yes, I am pretty certain that we do come back, not necessarily in the form we left, but we come back. I might be a snail or slug, or I might be a pine tree, or a Maori Warrior or who knows? And it may be here or some other wonderful (or not from my present eyes) place. Even a different planet, etc. I really believe as Einstein put forth, that energy can be neither created nor destroyed. It is always here in one form or another, and if we get to the bottom of who and what we are, we are likely at the base, energy that is amazing.

In my travels, I have been to places I absolutely KNOW I have never been before or experienced things I have never experienced, and yet I know those places or experiences and it is a strange encounter.
