The king of the upper-waters was called Order.
The king of the lower-waters was called Disorder.
The king of the mid-heaven was called Chaos.
*
King Order and King Disorder were forever meeting up
in the mid-heaven were they were treated wth the utmost respect.
They consulted together as to how they might
repay the kindness of King Chaos.
“Men have seven orifices for the purpose
of sensing the sensible things,” said King Order,
“Yet, our friend, King Chaos has not a single one!”
“Let us try to make them for our friend,” said King Disorder.
Accordingly, they set to, and dug an orifice a day
for the space of a week in the mid-heaven of their friend.
*
At the end of the week King Chaos drowned.
That is most unlucky, Stuart.
