Tri-Grams…

***

The death of Tee-Vee humour… Because the coup de grace… Comes always… At the high point… The sun dies at midsummer… And is reborn… At midwinter… In the Taoist world… This is depicted… In the yin-yang symbol… Of the two polarity fishes… With opposite eyes… Usually black and white… We could make this symbol… A trinity…. Simply by painting the eyes… Grey… This never happens in the Tao… But the fishes are surrounded… By tri-grams… Which may be the same thing… And is usually missed by westerners… Perhaps, though… It is only the light that ‘dies’ to rebirth… And not the sun?

The death of Tee-Vee snooker… For the same reason… And the viewing figures… Will bear this out… More than amply… The death of the nation… We covered… Without realising… Our only triumph… On the international stage… For nigh on… Eighty years… Finished us… And the death of football too… At the Old Home of football… Galling… To rock up… When all is done and dusted… Not quite all… For we may very well… Be witnessing the death… Of the global dream… It would be nice to think we were… Their lobbyists have all proved deficient in so many ways but in humanity… Especially… They appear…

…Entirely lacking… But wait… Maybe it was only… The Tee-Vee nation… That died in Forty-Five?… We were in those days… Even more susceptible… To the narrative… Foisted upon us by… Our gravid institutions… Which were… To all intents and purposes… The very same… That have so ruthlessly… Exposed themselves… For what they truly are… Vicious… Treacherous… Lecherous… Criminal… Liars… And cheats… Not a good look… But we have to ask… How did they get away with it… For so long?… Were we ourselves culpable… In any way?… Possibly, by not looking too closely… Look closely… Now!
