More than one of the stones
we have come across
in our travels has resembled
a cloaked and cowled, or hooded figure.

A ‘druid’ if you like.

This one,
at over ten feet tall,
would have to be a giant druid.
***
***
Now alone,
our druid was once accompanied
in his vigil by two, possibly three, other stones.
***
***
The fallen remnants of one of them
still lies within his enclosure.
***
***
What where these stones doing
and how did they get here?
***
***
Possibly, not like that!
