For every down there is an up,
For every low, a high.
For each cloud that obscures the sun
A star blooms in the sky.
Beyond each deep and lonesome vale
There is a lofty peak,
And every twilight path we tread
Leads to the Light we seek.
For every moment of despair
And every tear that falls
Can gently cleanse the pain we fear
And break the prison walls.
The bars are only visible
Because we fear to see
That Light within illuminates
What we should truly BE.
