I stood on the back doorstep and watched the dawn. The small dog and I had already been out much earlier, just as the sky turned from black to midnight blue.
The pastel shades and liquid gold of the clouds were worth watching, trilling each moment through scales of colour. I picked up the camera to capture an impression of memory.
The only thing missing from such a perfect sky was a red kite. And just as the thought flitted through my mind, a kite sailed into view….
Some moments are perfect.
