Ghost School…

Or even… Death on the Tab… By now… It is to be hoped… You have gotten… The picture… No one thinks about their death… No one considers it… In relation to their life… As not even… A constructive part of their life… But as any part of it whatsoever!… Death is something that happens… To other people… Death and the idea of it… Is simply prevaricated… To some later date… Which is never reached… Because you die…This is all egotistical thinking… The Ego cannot face death… Because the Ego is a construct… Of the incarnated psyche… Which does not survive it… Unlike… The Soul.

Everybody used to know this… So how come… So many of us… Seem to have forgotten?… Mog was the first person spotted… In The Thatch… Laden with two pints… As he was… He did not look any different from when we last met… Nigh on thirty-five years ago… It was just like him… As John would have said… But in the photographs… Of the event… When perused… At leisure… Some time later… It really did not look like Mog at all… Can we begin to glimpse… The difference between… The digital and the real?… The real contains history… Even when it hasn’t any… We will miss this in cyberspace.

That is why… It would be foolish to go there… This focus… On inconsequentials… Is necessary… In order to reveal… The patterns… Of the pathology… A rake… It appears… Is a cattle track… Which is inclined… So perhaps Rakes Parade… Has been around… In some form or another… Since cattle have been driven… Which is a very long time ago… Rakes Hall… Is depicted on the Eighteen-Forty line drawing… And there is a photograph of its gardens… Yet it does not appear in the written history at all… The Commonly held belief… Is that it was once a school… But on the map it is designated a Hall…

We'd love to hear from you...
