Oh, so it’s not a stone circle then,
it’s a cairn!

And yes, the artist’s impression
on this ‘information board’ is reminiscent
of the monuments at Clava Cairns on the mainland.

In the wake of the recent
wholly fictitious narratives we have all been
subjected to,
I, for one, though, am less inclined to
credit the culture that built these monuments
with anything like such notions as ‘someone important’…

There are so many holes in this particular narrative
that sifting the truth from it may be difficult.

But at least we can now see where the discrepancy
between circle and cairn arose.
