The mountain in question
carries the epithet ‘speckled’ which is an adjective
often applied to the fairy-folk in these parts.

That being the case we continue
circling in the hope the hill will eventually put in an appearance.

But if anything the ‘Speckled One’
appears to be sucking more and more cloud
into its ambit and wrapping itself up in it.
***
***
It may be that we have done something to upset it?
***
***
But if we have then that something remains elusive.
***
***
All this circling puts me in mind
of a spaghetti western.

Hence the preponderance of ‘wide-screen’ shots.
