The rats began to flee… The sinking ship… Of our current government… Quite some time ago… Incredibly… Everything we hear emanating from the East… Now sounds more believable… Than the tosh spouted… By our so called leaders… Big Bee rolled up… On his diplomatic mission… Sporting a turned inside out tie… And a crumpled shirt… His rhetoric… Is just about as convincing as his attire… Whereas the counter utterances… Of the Eastern State… Are at least statesman like… We have to stop pretending that we are still big players… We are not… And have not been since… Nineteen-Forty-Five.

At least it is now obvious… To all but the jab-riddled… That our nation… Has been sold… Down the river… By a bunch of five-star clowns… Everything we’ve ever been good at… Has been dismantled… Or trashed… And it is pointless asking… What we are now supposed to do?… We aren’t supposed to do anything… The plan was for us to do nothing… Stay at home… Alone… And eventually die… A great plan… For a great nation… Thanks Big Bee… If we were really fastidious… We could probably dig out a newspaper… From the library archives… And find out what time… The programme actually went out.

If we have any libraries… And archives… Left intact… Does that not also strike you as strange?… For year after year… Meticulous physical records were kept… And guarded fanatically… And now… No one cares a jot… For anything… Unless it is digital… Maybe it’s because the digital record… Can more easily be tampered with… In those days… The Tee-Vee was a community affair… Like a Theatre show… Or a play… Which meant that the whole family shared an experience… Together… But today… There is nothing on Tee-Vee… Worth sharing with anyone… Let alone… A family… Just lies… And propaganda.
